Itinerary Portuguese Way from Porto (8 days-7 nights-6 stages)

Day 1: Arrival in Porto. Accommodation.
Day 2: Porto-Arcos Stage (15,60 kms)
Difficulty: Easy Duration: 4h

Breakfast and start of the stage.

From Porto we will travel by car to Vilar do Pinheiro, due to the difficulty and danger of leaving Porto, due to traffic.

Stage that passes by asphalt and mainly cobbled areas, marked by small areas of native cultivation and trees.

We highlight the passage through the Zameiro Bridge, one of the most beautiful bridges on the route, until entering, also through another bridge, in Arcos.

Arrival to Arcos. End of the stage Accommodation.

Day 3: Arcos – Barcelos Stage (19,5 kms)
Difficulty: Easy Duration: 5h

Breakfast and start of the stage.

Stage that runs through agricultural tracks, with cornfields and vineyards in its first Kms, in slight ascent, to then go through asphalt tracks. and some cobbled areas. After Pedra Furada, we begin the descent towards Barcelinhos and the beautiful Barcelos, where we enter through its medieval Bridge.

Day 4: Barcelos – Balugaes Stage (17 kms)
Difficulty: Easy Duration: 4h 15m

Stage that transits mainly paved areas and with a steep climb to Alto da Portela. Ponte das Taboas (XNUMXth century) is one of the most significant places of the stage, before reaching Balugaes.

Day 5: Balugaes – Ponte de Lima Stage (16,6 Kms)
Difficulty: Easy Duration: 4h 15m

Breakfast and start of the stage.

From Balugaes, through rural landscapes and secondary roads, it will take us in its first part to Alto da Albergaria, with a steep climb, to descend to the Lima river, which gives its name to the beautiful Ponte de Lima, one of the most beautiful cities in the north of Portugal and the oldest, with a spectacular Roman bridge, its old town and the Lima river, as hallmarks of the city.

Day 6: Ponte de Lima – Rubiaes stage (18,5 kms)
Difficulty: High Duration: 5h

Breakfast and start of the stage.

The stage reigns of the route, with a strong ascent from the beginning of it, until reaching Alto de Portela Grande, from here, descending to our destination, Rubiaes.

It passes mainly through dirt tracks and areas of populated and lush vegetation, being of great beauty this part of the Camino.

Arrival to Rubias. End of the stage Accommodation.

Day 7: Stage Rubiaes-Tui (19,96 Kms)
Difficulty: Easy Duration: 5h

Breakfast and start of the stage.

Stage that gives us beautiful landscapes, in a orography of constant ups and downs, land that "hints" that we are at the gates of Galicia.

Much of the stage is carried out by the remains of an old Roman road, with numerous bridges.

Valenca do Minho, will be the prelude to our entry into Spain, through the Miño, to end in Tui.
