Camino de Santiago from Lugo to Santiago

The Camino de Santiago from Lugo (Primitive Way), begins at the foot of its fabulous Roman wall. Beautiful millennial city a World Heritage site where we will start this journey through Galician lands, along the most rural Galicia, dotted with small villages.

Upon reaching Melide, we met the pilgrims on the French Way to head towards Santiago on a single route. From Monte do Gozo, at the gates of Santiago we will enjoy the exceptional view of the Cathedral and the city of the Apostle.

Difficulty: Easy Duration: 5h

Breakfast and start of the stage.

Probably, we have that double sensation, of wanting to reach the long-awaited end of the Camino, and the opposite of "this is over", which assails every pilgrim. Stage of "anxiety" and joy, in which the distance does not matter, because "it is already there". Smooth path, like the previous one, except for the ascent to San Marcos, from Lavacolla. I pass through Monte do Gozo and descend to Santiago de Compostela, just 4 Kms, more.

Arrival in Santiago de Compostela. Accommodation. If you have more days you can extend your Camino de Santiago to Finisterre and Muxia, in what was once "the end of the world".

Congratulations pilgrim. Now it begins, probably "Your True Way". Do not forget to request your Compostela and the new Distance Certificate.

All of Santiago de Compostela is worth mentioning, especially its Cathedral, which deserves a special visit as well as its surroundings.
