Training

Training

In order to walk the way you don’t need a special or intense physical training, although it is necessary and appropiate to adequate in advance to walk for some hours. You should begin with small walks, 1 hour aprox, and increase it to 2 or 3 hours walks, with a light bag. You should pay special attention to foot care, because it's going to be the most sensitive part of our body. We recommend to use vaseline or creams to get better elasticity and have a good hydratation of the skin.

A person with a normal physical preparation usually travels a distance of approximately 4 kilometers per hour. Relaxed, calm and without great efforts. So en route we are faced with stages of an average duration of 5-7 hours. However we can adapt the stages according your phisical preparation.

We will have to pay special attention to the care of the feet and the choice of footwear, because it will be the most delicate part of our body. It is recommended the use of Vaseline, or creams that improve the elasticity and hydration of the skin.

Anyone, whether adults or children, in normal health, can do the Camino de Santiago without any inconvenience. With our support the walk will be much more bearable.

¡¡EVERY PERSON MUST ADAPT THEIR RATE OF MARCH TO THEIR REAL PHYSICAL POSSIBILITIES,

NEVER TO THAT OF OTHER PILGRIMS!!
