Thanks to all this, follow the indications without fear of getting lost in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundiplus.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Organized trips to the Camino de Santiago<\/a> It has been easier over the years.<\/p>\n<h3><span >FARO TO SANTIAGO<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Throughout the years, this sign is maintained thanks to the invaluable work of the numerous Associations of Friends of the Camino de Espa\u00f1a, existing throughout the national geography and of many volunteers of all nationalities and that serves as a &#8220;beacon to Santiago \u201dfrom any point where there is a pilgrim.<\/p>\n<p>Along all the routes, we will find her anywhere painted on metal signs, stones, walls, trees, ground, etc. guiding the pilgrim.<\/p>\n<h2><span >VIERA OR SHELL OF THE PILGRIM<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"gt-block\">After the arrow, the most important universal symbol for signaling the Camino de Santiago is the <strong>&#8220;Scallop or peregrine shell&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gt-block\">The scallop has been associated with the Camino since the beginning of the pilgrimage to Santiago, since the pilgrims who finished it and arrived at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundiplus.com\/en\/caminos\/a-pie\/camino-finisterre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Finisterre<\/a> they collected the shell, as a symbol and proof that they had finished their pilgrimage.
