A village whose origins date back to the 13th and 14th centuries and classified as one of the most beautiful in Spain. The Gothic bridge of Pontemaceira is one of Galicia’s gems, and, along with the small waterfall of the Tambre River and its mills, will leave us with a scene to remember.
We will visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Boat and the sacred stones, where we will enjoy privileged views of Cape and Lighthouse Vilán, one of the most dangerous navigable areas on the Spanish coasts and the oldest electric lighthouse in Spain.
You can lose your gaze on the horizon of what was once considered the end of the known world. You will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to have lunch in one of its restaurants. Cape and Lighthouse of Finisterre: a place of pre-Christian cults linked to the “Ara Solis.” It was the first lighthouse on the Costa da Morte, and if we are lucky and the weather permits, we will be able to appreciate the mouth of the Muros and Noia estuary and the infinite Carnota Beach.
We will walk along a wooden walkway that, through multiple viewpoints, will lead us to this natural spectacle.
The 18th-century Carnota Horreo is the third-largest horreo in Galicia and the fifth-largest in Spain. It stands out for its impressive size, construction in wood and stone, and its historical significance. A must-visit for lovers of traditional Galician architecture, where they can admire its majesty and immerse themselves in its cultural heritage.
With a small historic center built like a fishbone (typical of Galician fishing villages), there will be free time to stroll through the narrow streets of what is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
