HOW MANY ROADS TO SANTIAGO ARE THERE AND WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ROUTES?
During the Middle Ages, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims traveled to Santiago de Compostela from all over the European geography. They traveled through what remained of the Roman roads, and other medieval roads. WHAT ARE THE STAGES LIKE?

WHEN SHOULD I MAKE THE RESERVATION?
The hiring of your Trip to the Camino de Santiago must be done with at least 7 days in advance of the date that you have decided to do the Camino de Santiago, so that we can carry out the pertinent procedures for it.
On certain dates the occupation on the Camino is maximum, so we recommend that when you have decided on the dates you proceed to fill out our reservation form to guarantee availability, and we can start working on your route to the Camino de Santiago.
WHAT DAY CAN I START THE ROAD?
You can freely decide the dates, as well as the day of the week and the place of departure that you want. The trip is not subject to any group, so only a minimum of one pilgrim is required.
WHEN DO I RECEIVE THE DOCUMENTATION?
The main documentation to make the trip to the Camino de Santiago will be sent via e-mail, in the about 7-9 days approximately, after having made the full payment of the Reserve.
Once you arrive at the first accommodation, you will be given additional information and printed documentation at the reception (Please do not forget to request it upon arrival!)
WHO CAN DO THE WAY?

CAN I TRAVEL ALONE?-WILL I GET LOST?--IS IT SAFE?
You can hire our services without any problem, since we design the route exclusively for you. The accommodation will be in a single room, since it is not possible to share a room with other pilgrims.
Starting the Camino de Santiago alone does not mean walking alone to Santiago de Compostela. The same day of your arrival at the beginning of the first stage, in the accommodation, you will meet more pilgrims with whom if you wish you can start walking the next day, and with whom you will coincide stage after stage. Groups form spontaneously. All pilgrims are open to meeting people and sharing the incredible experience of the Camino. So you can decide who to walk with, by affinity, age, walking pace, etc.
On the road you will never be alone. The Camino is safe and perfectly signposted, so you don't need to worry about any details. The Mundiplus Travel Team will always be at your disposal.
TYPES OF ACCOMMODATION ON THE CAMINO DE SANTIAGO
The accommodations that we offer to our pilgrims to do the Camino de Santiago are of high quality. Our collaborating establishments are Hotels, Hostels, Pazos, Rural houses and Hostels with charm and private bathroom. They have the necessary services that will be very useful after the daily stages. All accommodations have been supervised by our experts, depending on their comfort, facilities and humane treatment.
They are mostly in the end-of-stage towns themselves. However, in some cases, always looking for the best available option and the approach to the rural environment, we can transfer you to rural accommodations that are within a radius of a few kilometers. The next day, he would rejoin at the beginning of the stage.
As you can choose the date that best suits you to make the trip to the Camino de Santiago, and being mostly accommodation with few rooms, the exact name of the same will be provided once you have made the firm reservation of the trip. In the different itineraries of the Camino, you will see a selection of photographs of possible accommodations where we will host you, varying according to their availability.
If you do the Camino de Santiago alone, we will stay in a single room, it is not possible to share a room with other pilgrims.
Comfort and rest is one of our main objectives. Mundiplus never offers hostels, unless the pilgrim explicitly requests it. We never lodge a pilgrim in an accommodation where we would not like to spend the night!
FOOD IN THE ACCOMMODATION
Our itineraries to do the Camino de Santiago They include, along with accommodation and other basic services, breakfast and / or dinner of great quality and variety.
Meals are not included in our routes so that they can walk according to their rhythm and possibilities, and not establish an arrival time that determines their route. We recommend that you bring some food on the way: sandwich, sandwich, energy bars, some fruit, water, etc.
In any of the towns on the Camino you can locate food stores without any problem. You can also stop and eat something en route or stop relaxing at the end of the stage at any restaurant.
Those pilgrims with dietary limitations (vegetarians, vegans, etc.) must inform us to take into account their demands. However, you must also make it known in the different accommodations on the Camino before each meal.
LUGGAGE TRANSPORTATION
During the stages of your Camino we transport a package, of no more than 20 Kgs per person, from the accommodation where you spend the night to the accommodation where you stay in the next stage. With this you will be able to carry out the route in a slightly more pleasant way, avoiding back pain and overload in the lower extremities (see knees and feet mainly). Suitcases, sports bags, backpacks are transferred.
If you want us to transport more than one package per person, it will imply an additional supplement. You must inform of this circumstance before starting your trip.
Upon arrival at the first accommodation on the Camino de Santiago, we provide you with an identification tag, which you must place in a visible place in your luggage.
The luggage must be left at the reception of the accommodation, before 8 in the morning, to proceed to the transfer. Your luggage will be delivered to the next reserved establishment at the latest at 14:XNUMX p.m., just before you finish each of the stages of the Camino de Santiago.
During the daily stage, we recommend carrying a small backpack with the essentials for the walk.
PROBLEMS WHEN WALKING
Many of our itineraries when we organize the different variants of the Camino, include a Roadside Assistance Vehicle in case of emergency (injury or any physical incident that prevents you from finishing the stage). The assistance vehicle will be available once you are walking, being used exclusively for this purpose.
On those routes where we do not offer this service, you will always have a helpline at your disposal in case you have any emergency or doubt en route. You will never be alone, pilgrim!
CREDENTIAL AND CERTIFICATES OF THE PILGRIM
THE PILGRIM'S CREDENTIAL
It is the document in which it is proven, by means of stamps stamped in the different boxes that it has, that the Camino is being carried out, through the successive places through which the pilgrim goes to Santiago de Compostela. Its presentation will be essential, at the time of obtaining "La Compostela". It can be obtained through the Associations of Friends of the Way, some hostels, etc. If you book the route with Mundiplus travel, we will give you the credential, which you will receive when you arrive at the first accommodation.
LA COMPOSTELA AND THE CERTIFICATE OF DISTANCE
La Compostela is the document that has been issued, for centuries, to the pilgrim who has made the Camino de Santiago, for religious or faith reasons.
